And what a special day that was–and one that those of us who were there will never forget. Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe those hours. Mom

Dear DanO and Family - I’m sitting here tonight with my Sandra Gail Beardsley memory card. Looking at the lovely smile of my friend Sandy, smiling into Cameron’s lense as he takes a picture of his mom out dancing on July 8th 2006. Today is one year ago that we lost her. But her brightness is still an inspiration and will always be that way for me. With love, Heather & Pat
PS - Here’s the poem on her card:
“ILLUMINATION”
It is better to Light candles than to curse the darkness. It is better to plant seeds than to accuse the earth. The world needs all of our power and Love and energy, and each of us has something that we can give. The trick is to find it and use it, to find it and give it away. So there will always be more. We can be Lights for each other, and through each other’s illumination we will see the way. Each of us is a seed, a silent promise, and it is always spring. — M. Shain (author).
